Immigration Care was founded in 2008 by Martine Varekamp-Bos, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), to provide personalized, high-integrity immigration advice to individuals, families, and employers across Canada. What began as a small, rural-based practice has now grown into a dedicated team of seven professionals committed to supporting clients through every step of their immigration journey.

Martine’s personal immigration story fuels her work. Originally from the Netherlands, she experienced Canadian immigration twice—first as a teenager when her family moved to Canada as self-employed dairy farmers, and again when she sponsored her husband after marrying. Today, she and her husband are raising three children on their dairy farm, where she maintains deep connections to rural life and the agricultural sector. This background has positioned her as a trusted expert in agricultural migration.

Martine holds a Marketing degree from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland (2003) and completed her Immigration Consultant Certificate at Bow Valley College in Calgary in 2008. She is licensed to practice Canadian immigration law, holds an International Employment Agency license in Alberta, and serves as a Commissioner of Oaths in the province.

Since its founding, Immigration Care has supported thousands of individuals and families in building a life in Canada and helped employers navigate complex programs like the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). While rooted in rural values, our reach is national—and our commitment is always personal.
